IUSTI-Canada engages individuals working in the sexual and reproductive health space, including basic and behavioural scientists, clinicians, and community groups to discuss sexual and reproductive health and rights, research, and program science.
The International Union Against Sexually Transmitted Infections – Canada (IUSTI-Canada) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that serves alongside the American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association (ASTDA) to represent IUSTI-North America, which is one of five geographical regions under the umbrella organization of IUSTI-World. Membership in IUSTI-Canada offers the following benefits:

Early Career Research Scholarships: Membership fees are used to support the IUSTI-Canada Scholarship Fund, which supports Canadian trainees and Early Career Researchers attending ISSTDR/IUSTI Joint Meetings/STI & HIV World Congresses.
Volunteer Opportunities: Engage in meaningful volunteer work by contributing your time and expertise to various national and international committees.
Our Membership Tiers
IUSTI-Canada welcomes members from industry, academia and the community. Dues are listed in Canadian dollars and provide membership for one calendar year from January 1 to December 31, regardless of month of joining.

Standard Membership
Individual IUSTI-Canada members are entitled to all privileges of membership including voting rights in IUSTI- Canada, membership in IUSTI-World, and a discount on registration fees at IUSTI-World meetings and ISSTDR/IUSTI-World joint meetings (STI & HIV World Congresses).

Trainee & Retiree Membership
Trainees, including undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and medical students as well as retirees, nonactive, emeritus/emerita are offered a discounted membership rate and receive all the privileges of a standard member.

If requested, not-for-profit and community organizations that purchase an IUSTI-Canada membership will have their name/logo displayed on the IUSTI-Canada website.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate donations and sponsorship offers companies with interests in the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of STIs, including HIV/AIDS, an opportunity to provide educational grant support to IUSTI-Canada. We welcome sponsorship donations of any amount, with a suggested range of $500-$10,000 CAD. Sponsors will receive recognition for their donation on the IUSTI-Canada website and at IUSTI-Canada-sponsored events, including educational opportunities such as IUSTI-Canada-organized training workshops and the IUSTI-Canada webinar series.
